The Vow with Jack! And my first-ever midnight showing, might I add. But, I must say that in my honest opinion, for once, reality was finally better than the movies. A lot better. Having read the book— Alright, I know that the movie was only inspired by real events, but hear it out— I was expecting a lot more. For example, Christ was undoubtedly the sole foundation of the real-life couple’s relationship and definitely made the story so much better, so to have the faith taken out of the picture made the film a lot less wholesome. And don’t get me started with the ending. Other than that, I’m digging the soundtrack. And Channing’s character was hilarious. “That’s so, twisted… But so, romantic. Man I love you. Unff.” And his rump? I ain’t mad.. Overall, the movie was just alright.
Mel’s with Jack > The Vow, that’s how I’ll put it. Catching up with that man over grub, oldies, and crazy stories is always great. Moral: “People do crazy things when they’re in love. So don’t fall in love haha.” Man it is a beautiful thing, being able to appreciate our single lives to the fullest. I love that man.
Anthony graduated from boot camp today. I really wish I was there. It’ll be a joy knowing that he’ll be back in Cali by noon tomorrow. Sadly he’s going straight to Monterey for his language training, but hopefully I get to see him this month, because I miss my older brother so much. <333
Brawl with ‘Turo later! Man, I gotta say. Lucas sucks. But I love him. Therefore, I shall.
