February 18
Seeing Jack and ‘Turo in front of my house put a big ole’ smile on my face. That sight alone told me that today was going to be beyond my expectations.
Great Mall to kill the time! You know, I’m usually iffy when it comes to shopping with guys, but with these fellas it’s not like that at all. They’re some gems, so I’m super thankful to have them around. Hm, nothing really stood out from today’s shopping trip other than this ridiculous looking fur scarf at H&M that I tried on for kicks… and ended up buying hahaha (That would happen.). I ended up grabbing another for Anjelica after the lady at the register told me it was “Buy One Get One Free”. Love it when females be lookin’ out though, ha! Anywho. I’m definitely going shopping with you guys more often. Let’s go soon!
Target with ‘Turo to pass the half-hour wait, we had too much fun in the Valentine/Easter aisle. Sour Patch Bunnies and a Darth Vader heart box of chocolates for me, and Peeps, cherry M&Ms, and chocolate golf balls for him. Hahaha, oh ‘Turo. Love this guy.
BOILING CRAB. Hands down, my favorite restaurant. The whole shebang shrimp in XXX, all day. It was nice seeing ‘Turo and Dave’s reactions to it all, being that it was their first time there. Definitely reminded me a lot of myself back in November: “Where are our plates?” “There are no plates.” ”Gasp!” :O Hahaha. Real talk though, it was so good getting my hands dirty with that godly sauce once again. Sorry for showing no visual mercy, friends. Not that it mattered though, we were all toooo busy grubbin’ ($100 fines though? Haha huuuush, ‘Turo.). “Good food, good hip hop, good company.”
Ken-Ya Dance. So the first half was alright, let’s skip to the second half- ACADEMY OF VILLAINS. Wow, I have been officially mindblown away for three hours now. Meaning, my headache’s about to hit four hours in a bit. They’re absolutely incredible, they’re so precise in every way, it’s crazy insane. I honestly think they’re the top dance crew in America, but then again I’m hella biased. It does make me feel pretty cool knowing one of the people in the group though haha. The finale which featured IAmMe was awesome too— seeing Chachi perform live was pretty dope— but to be honest, AOV was without a doubt my absolute favorite. They just put dance on a whole other level. SOLD, to the mimes in black and red.
Right now I’m just chillin’ in my chair, gobbling the remains of my five hour marinated shrimp as I reflect over my day. Man, I’d been looking forward to this day for a good month, and I’m so happy to say that it exceeded my expectations by so much. So happy, how perfect this Saturday was. This day has been by far the best day in 2012 yet. I certainly hope there are more days like this to come. :)
