4.5 hours of piano, music major status! My hands are super worked out, achy and such. But on the bright side I definitely got work done. The piece has definitely gotten to at least half the speed that Valentina Lisita plays it, and while it might not sound like much I learned the first ten measures from memory. I even ended up showing Holly my what I was working on, and her jaw dropped when I told her I just started yesterday. So that was very encouraging. Super jugo. Oh, and side note: Haley is incredibly funny. 

After ensemble, I fooled around on the Steinway for a bit with my new piece. Then here comes Burton, “Play for the first part and I’ll vamp it up with my Edwardness!” Hahaha, so I started playing Moonlight Sonata and this guy’s over here singing like the most operatic nightingale like it’s nobody’s business. TOO GOOD. Ah, this guy cracks me up so much. Definitely one of my faves.

Off to finish homework. Looking forward to Haight tomorrow.
